SYLVAMBER™ is a warm and tenacious woody-amber material with a more defined cedar character than materials that work mainly on volume and transparency. Its strength lies in building a stable, persistent base without reaching the aggressiveness of more extreme woody-amber boosters.

Olfactory profile

Woody, cedar-like, amber, warm and modern. The sensation is more structured and compact than ISO E SUPER®, with a more evident cedar presence and good continuity in the drydown.

In formula

SYLVAMBER™ is particularly useful when a base needs greater solidity. In woody accords it builds broad, persistent cedar; in amber structures it creates continuity; with musks and transparent florals it adds a more readable foundation; alongside very high-impact woody-amber materials it can act as an intermediate layer, avoiding dependence on a single booster.

It is a useful material for adding depth without heaviness and for making the transition between heart and base more coherent.

SYLVAMBER™, ISO E SUPER® or TIMBERSILK™?

ISO E SUPER® works mainly on space and velvety texture; TIMBERSILK™ tends toward a warmer, rounder sensation; SYLVAMBER™ is more cedar-like, structural and tenacious. The difference is especially clear in the way they build the base.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable for woody, amber, modern fougère and transparent bases when a persistent, elegant and more defined cedar-amber structure is needed than pure-volume woody-amber materials provide.
