NIAOULI ORGANIC ESSENTIAL OIL ROBERTET

Organic Melaleuca quinquenervia essential oil obtained by distillation of the leaves. In perfumery it offers an aromatic, camphoraceous and balsamic freshness that is rounder and greener than a very direct eucalyptus effect.

Olfactory profile

Aromatic, green, camphoraceous and balsamic, with nuances of leaf, eucalyptol, resin, herbs and pale wood.

In formula

It is particularly useful in fougère, aromatic, green, ozonic, sporty, clean and genderless compositions. It can add freshness to the top and heart, lighten woody structures and support accords with lavender, rosemary, pine and petitgrain.

With bergamot and grapefruit it becomes brighter; with lavender it reinforces a fougère structure; with pine and rosemary it develops a more forest-like aromatic direction; with vetiver and cedar it gains greater dryness.

NIAOULI or EUCALYPTUS?

Niaouli tends to feel greener, rounder and more complex, while eucalyptus is often more direct and cineolic. The choice depends on the degree of medicinal versus aromatic-green freshness desired.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a fresh, balsamic and camphoraceous aromatic note is needed, capable of adding cleanliness and verticality without turning the formula into an overtly medicinal accord.
